Freight volume, by equipment type ,had a decline in April . The decline was 23 % for Vans and 25% for Refrigerated (reefer) trailers that was compared to the March market. But an increase of 18 % of freight availability on the Flatbeds was showed in  April. Base line-haul rates were up for controlling a decline in  fuel prices  Concerning freight from the ports if the existing trends continue ,watch for better rates for Vans out of the state of Georgia as freight heads and heats up with the Spring winding into summer.
